Whatever the weather, external exams in Pembrokeshire secondary schools will go ahead as scheduled from next week (Monday 11th January).
Pembrokeshire County Council has said that secondary schools will open for those pupils doing external exams, even if the rest of the school is closed.
Parents and students are asked to make every effort for candidates to get to school safely, although students doing modular exams will have the chance to take the exam at a later date.
Students who feel that their home location makes it unlikely that they will get to school should contact their school to see if assistance with travel can be provided.
For more information pupils are asked to check their school’s website.
