A woman who made it home in yesterday’s (Wednesday’s) snowy conditions had to call for the assistance of Pembroke Dock fire fighters, after her parked car slid dangerously on the ice.
The woman had parked her car outside her home in Pennar at around 6pm. Once she was out of the vehicle the car slid on ice, ending up in an embankment and endangering nearby property.
Pembroke Dock fire fighters were called to the incident in School Gardens at 6.14 yesterday. They used a hydraulic winch to remove the vehicle from its precarious position, returning to station at 6.33pm
