A helicopter and a 4x4 vehicle were called to the aid of an elderly man who fell in Castle Martin yesterday (Wednesday).
The man took a tumble at his home yesterday morning. Paramedics and a land ambulance were called to the scene, but because of treacherous road conditions extra support was required.
Coastguards from Castle Martin, St Govans and Tenby were tasked to make a landing pad for the helimed air ambulance.
The air ambulance landed at around midday and paramedics checked the man over. He was treated at the scene and did not need airlifting to hospital.
