The work of A level art students from eight Pembrokeshire schools will go on display in a new exhibition which opens on Monday(January 11th).
The display, at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery,entitled Pembrokeshire Schools: Artists of the Future is also running as a competition, and is sponsored by Chevron.
It features work from students at Milford Haven School, Pembroke School, Sir Thomas Picton School, Haverfordwest; Tasker Milward School, Haverfordwest; Greenhill School, Tenby; Ysgol Bro Gwaun, Fishguard; Ysgol Y Preseli, Crymych and Ysgol Dewi Sant, St Davids.
Said Chevron's public affairs manager, Jane James: “Chevron is delighted to sponsor the Pembrokeshire Schools: Artists of the Future exhibition at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery. We believe that support of the arts is crucial to a community’s growth and well-being, and Chevron places a high priority on sponsorship such as this which will surely encourage development of artistic skills in the county’s young people.”
The exhibition is open to the public from Monday January 11th and will run until Friday February 5th.
