Dyfed-Powys Police and Pembrokeshire County Council are urging people who may have abandoned their cars in yesterday’s heavy snow to go and collect them.

A number of vehicles were abandoned in the severe weather yesterday, some of these have not been retrieved and are causing an obstruction.

The police and council said they are trying to ensure the roads are safe and passable.

"We understand that some people needed to abandon their vehicles yesterday but we are requesting that they now collect them as soon as possible,” said Chief Inspector Steve Matchett.

"We are asking for people's support so we can ensure the roads are safe and as little disruption as possible is caused to motorists."
