A young family spent the first days of 2010 without heating, after thieves stole 700 litres of domestic heating oil from outside their home.
The fuel, worth around £350 was stolen from the storage tank of a house in Pill Road, Hook between December 21st 2009 and January 1st 2010.
Police are reminding the public to keep their domestic heating oil stores secure, fitting adequate locks and security lighting and CCTV where possible.
Anyone with information regarding the theft should contact Haverfordwest police station on 101.
