Police say that they are treating a flat fire in Milford Haven's Mount Estate as suspicious.

On the evening of Sunday the 27th of December, 2009, emergency services were called to a fire at a flat in Hawthorn Path on the Mount Estate, Milford Haven.

Both Milford Haven fire appliances were called to the fire, which was confined to the kitchen of the premises.

Fire fighters took an hour and a half to tackle the blaze, using two sets of breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.

No-one was in the premises at the time, but extensive damage was caused.

Police have said today that the cause of the fire is being treated as suspicious.
