Adam Williams, from Fishguard, has raised hundreds of pounds for Wales Air Ambulance in memory of his best friend.

Adam wanted to take on a special challenge to mark his friendship with Ashley and is now thinking of taking on even more challenges.
He said: “The half marathon wasn’t too bad and it was great to have my family cheering me on. I’ll definitely do it in 2010 but I might do a bit more training this time around.”
Pam Smith, Ashley’s mother, spoke of her pride in Adam.
She said: “I will always be so proud of Adam and what he’s achieved in memory of Ash.
“He’s done something so special that it’s even made me think about doing a parachute jump in 2010… and I hate heights!”
Mike Ashbridge, representing Wales Air Ambulance, thanked Adam for the tremendous donation he was making to the charity, He said: “Adam has quite simply achieved something very special that will inspire many people.
“He has completed a challenge in memory of his friend and has raised a substantial sum of money that will help keep the air ambulance flying. Wales Air Ambulance is proud to have Adam as a supporter.”
