Haverfordwest-based Claire Lloyd will appear on a new ITV1 primetime dating show starting this week.
Claire will feature in Take Me Out, hosted by Paddy McGuinness. Thirty women from all over the country stand on stage and decide if they would like to date the man who appears by turning on a light.
Claire said: “The guys are not always what they seem, further information is exposed about the guys as they stand on the stage. Each time more information transpires it is up to us girls if we still want our lights to remain on, if they have not already been switched off. It is finally up to the guy to choose his date out of the girls who have left their lights on.”
Claire said: “I spent a week in Manchester filming two shows at Granada studios. It was strange having lunch in the canteen with the cast of Coronation Street.
“Jeremy Kyle came in to watch us rehearse, as did Peter Kay.” Accounts manager Claire is no stranger to the limelight as she has also appeared on the Richard and Judy Star Bar, and was invited to private auditions for Big Brother earlier this year She said: “I went on to get down to the last 70, in fact both Lisa and Marcus, who appeared on Big Brother, were in my group.”
She added: “Filming Take Me Out was fantastic, it was hard work with 16 hour days, but amazing fun.”
Take Me Out begins on ITV1 January 2nd at 7.20pm, and will be shown every Saturday evening.
