Tenby inshore lifeboat was launched yesterday (Sunday) after a member of the public spotted two kayakers in difficulty off North Beach.
The pair, both from Aberdare, appeared to be in trouble and drifting of shore in choppy seas with 28 knot winds blowing.
As the inshore lifeboat arrived at the scene the kayakers had succeeded in heading into shore and no longer required assistance.
The crew made sure that they were not injured or unwell. The pair were then met by Tenby coastguards who offered suitable safety advice.
