"The Pembrokeshire County Show continues to be one of the biggest and best in Britain," says MP Nick Ainger, "thanks to the team who plan and work all year round to make it a great success."
"Thousands of visitors, competitors and exhibitors have a great time, thanks to the show team's hard work.
"The collapse of Dairy Farmers of Britain shows how the continued volatility in the milk sector is damaging the industry. Closing processing plants takes jobs away from rural areas and increases transport costs and carbon emissions when they should be cut.
"The Competition Commission have now made a strong recommendation to the Government that a Groceries Ombudsman be appointed to ensure that farmers get a fair price and supermarkets don't abuse their buying power. The Government now needs to act quickly to create a powerful Ombudsman who will be able to fine retailers who abuse their buying power.
"That will be good for producers, processors and consumers."
