This year's Pembrokeshire County Show lady ambassador has described her appointment as a 'tremendous honour'.
Ros Bushell of Bolton East in Clarbeston Road said she is excited at the prospect of her upcoming role at the three-day agricultural show.
The 26-year-old is a secondary school history teacher at Ysgol Bro Gwaun in Fishguard and has been an active member of Llysyfran YFC for 14 years.
Ros said: " We all know how the show is such a great window for the whole county to display what is has to offer and has been such a success over the years."
"I've been able to see a different side of the show this year being involved in some of the meetings and I have seen just how much work goes into organising it."
Amongst the show highlights already pencilled into the lady ambassador's itinerary include a trip to the YFC stand.
"I'm looking forward to seeing the YFC stand especially as this year the federation celebrates its 70th birthday," she said.
Ros has also been busy selecting her show attire for the many functions she will be attending as representative for the agricultural society.
One outfit was successfully sought from fashion shop Bonkers in Haverfordwest who have kindly sponsored one of her glamorous dresses.
"It's a nice treat and a good excuse to dress up," she added.
