A man who slashed two men near a nightclub has been jailed for six years today (Friday).
John Tiffony, aged 25, used a knife or some other sharp object to cause grievous bodily harm to Anthony Davies and Dewi William Gurwen Evans in an incident close to Chancers nightclub in Bush Street, Pembroke Dock.
Tiffony, of Woodbine Terrace, Pembroke had been convicted of both offences after a trial at Swansea crown court.
He was taken back to court today to be jailed by Judge Huw Davies.
The jury heard of an incident inside the club on November, 2006, during which Tiffony and Mr Davies came to blows on the dancefloor.
Tiffony was ejected from the club. Mr Davies' uncle, Raymond Timothy Davies, told the jury he had been using the upstairs snooker room at the time and did not see the the incident. But he later noticed his nephew talking to doorstaff and complaining that someone had taken his mobile telephone. He was told the person may have just left and that he was now in a nearby kebab house.
Mr Evans and Anthony Davies went to the kebab house, where they were confronted by Tiffony.
The three men moved towards a bus shelter where Tiffony launched his attack. Both victims received stab wounds and were taken to Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest.
