The first shipment of LNG into Milford Haven's South Hook terminal is expected to arrive on Friday morning.
Milford Haven Port Authority's website has the 315 metre Tembek listed to arrive in the Haven at 8am on Friday morning.
The huge Korean-built vessel, longer than three football pitches, can hold more than 200,000 cubic metres of LNG cooled to -161ºc.
The super tanker left Qatar and travelled through the Suez Canal and through to Malta. It left Malta on Friday and will now travel to the UK via Spain.
Its arrival marks the first phase of the South Hook LNG project, which is expected to receive up to 10.5billion cubic metres of gas every year.
