A 58-year-old nurse from Tenby is due to appear before the conduct and competence committee of the Nursing and Midwifery council today.
The committee will consider the case of Christopher Richard Baldwin, a registered learning disabilities nurse, who was convicted of crimes at Haverfordwest magistrates court and at Carmarthen south magistrates court last year.
On June 20th 2007 Baldwin was convicted of assault by magistrates in Haverfordwest, he was given a 12 month community order, 100 hours of unpaid work requirement of and ordered to pay £250.00 costs.
Three months earlier, on March 21st 2007, at Carmarthen south magistrates court, Baldwin was convicted of driving while under the influence following a road accident. He was ordered to attend a programme for drink drivers, given a one year community order, with supervision and made to pay £50 costs.
