A nine year old girl was rescued by coastguards and paramedics this morning (Monday), after she fell 15 foot into brambles.
The child had been playing on a home made swing at Cwm Yr Eglwys, near Newport. Ambulance control requested coastguard help in locating and extricating the child.
Shortly after 10.30am Fishguard Coast Rescue team, together with the Preseli sector manager, were tasked to the incident. They managed to locate the girl and assisted paramedics with carrying her to an awaiting ambulance.
The child was then taken to Withybush Hospital for assessment.
