An actor who first trod the boards in school and Urdd productions in Crymych is appearing in S4C's acclaimed drama, Con Passionate, which began its third series today (Sunday).
Rhodri Evan - who won a Bafta Cymru award for Best Actor in the recent S4C production, Cowbois ac Injans - can be seen as nosy neighbour Cecil on Con Passionate, the story of a male voice choir.
The eight-part series stars opera singer, Shan Cothi, and a host of other top names, and won the perstigious European Rose doOr tv award last year, beating fellow nominees East Enders and The Bill.
Born in Cardigan and raised in Crymych, Rhodri has recently returned to his roots and now lives with his family at Efailwen.
He is also currently on stage with Clwyd Theat Cymru in Drowned Out, where he plays a number of roles, including that of legendary Welsh politcal figure, Gwynfor Evans.
*Con Passionate can be seen at 9pm on S4C on Sundays, with Welsh and English subtitles available. It is repeated every Thursday at 9.30pm, with on-screen English subtitles, and is also available to view on boardband - s4c.co.uk/gwylio.
