Two men charged in connection with an alleged serious sexual assault in Pembroke appeared at Swansea crown court today (Friday).
Twenty-nine year old, Reyad Abbas of 11 Main Street, Pembroke and 23-year old Farhad Mohammedi of 69 Norfolk Road, Wolverhampton were charged with rape and attempted rape.
The alleged attack against a 44-year-old woman took place on a path known as Morgan’s Way off Main Street, Pembroke, in the early hours of Sunday, October 12th.
Both men appeared in front of Judge Christopher Morton for a pre trial hearing.
The charges were not formally put to the defendants today and neither man entered a plea.
They were further remanded in custody and are due to next appear in front of the court on January 2nd 2009.
