A wallet containing £900 in cash was stolen from an elderly farmer during a distraction burglary over the weekend.
On Saturday, October 18th, two men, believed to have been from the travelling community, visited a small holding near Crymych and asked the elderly owner if they could buy some batteries from him.
While the farmer was pre-occupied by one of the men, it seems that his colleague entered the farmhouse and stole a wallet containing around £900.
A description of the men involved is limited, one of them has a mustache and they travelled to the small holding in an old white van.
Anyone with any information on the incident is asked to contact PC 1157 Jones at Crymych police station on 0845 330 2000.
