A 36-year-old woman was cut free from her car, following a two vehicle crash on the Trecwn junction of the A40 yesterday (Thursday).
Fire crews from Fishguard and the Haverfordwest rescue tender were called to the scene. The top of the woman's car was removed using hydraulic cutting equipment and she was released from the vehicle. Another person involved in the crash had managed to free themselves before the fire fighters arrived.
The woman, suffering from neck injuries, was taken to Withybush Hospital by ambulance.
Police on the scene directed traffic while fire crews made the road safe.
