Two men were remanded in custody today after appearing before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court charged with rape and attempted rape following an alleged attack in Pembroke.
Twenty-nine year old, Reyad Abbas of 11 Main Street, Pembroke and 23-year old Farhad Mohammedi of 69 Norfolk Road, Wolverhampton were charged with the alleged assault of a 44-year-old woman in the early hours of Sunday, October 12th at a path known as Morgan’s Way off Main Street.
Both men spoke through an interpreter only to confirm their names and addresses.
The men were represented by Sharon Knox from Hains and Lewis and Katy Hanson from Lowless and Lowless. No application for bail was made and pleas were not asked for at this stage.
The case has been committed to Swansea Crown Court with the next hearing scheduled for October 24th.
