Plans to improve access between Penally and Tenby without vehicles are to be discussed at a public event.

The Active Travel proposals include creating a shared use path from Penally village to Tenby Golf Course for pedestrians and cyclists, and a multi-user path from Clicketts Lane to Heywood Lane, which will accommodate horse riders.

Other improvements include a shared use path from Marsh Road to Clicketts Lane, and from Slippery Back to The Croft, along with enhancements between North Beach car park and The Green.

The objective is to provide a shared and safe space for all users, enabling commuting between Penally and Tenby without relying on cars.

Drop-in sessions will be held at the De Valence Pavilion, Tenby, on October 16 at 10am-12pm, 1pm-4pm, and 6.30pm-8pm.

Representatives from Pembrokeshire County Council will be present to answer questions.

Following this one-day event, an online public survey will be made available for those unable to attend in person and will remain open for four weeks, closing on November 13.

The proposed plans can be viewed on the Pembrokeshire County Council website, with hard copies available at The De Valence Pavilion and County Hall.

Residents are encouraged to share their views on the proposals, ensuring the development meets the needs and expectations of the community.
