AN ESSEX man has denied assaulting his partner on multiple occasions.
Steven Quaif, 26, of Abbotts Road in Chelmsford, appeared at Swansea Crown Court charged with five offences.
Quaif was accused of assault occasioning actual bodily harm against a woman at an address in Jameston between July 1 and August 1.
He was also accused of damaging her mobile phone and refrigerator during that same period.

The defendant was further charged with battery and strangulation against the same woman on September 4.
He pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Judge Catherine Richards set a trial date for February 25 next year, and Quaif was remanded back in to custody.
