A teenager jumped out of his bedroom window when police arrived at his property, subsequently slapping and punching an officer and damaging police property.
Finley Grimshaw, 18, told Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday that he was of no fixed address.
Nia Jones, prosecuting, said that police had been called to a property in Solva where Grimshaw was staying on September 23 this year.
Officers arrived at the property and tried to speak with the teenager. However, he exited the property via a bedroom window.
A police officer followed him and during ‘somewhat of a struggle’ Grimshaw slapped and punched the officer. As police tried to arrest him the teen pulled the wire out of a police radio.
Grimshaw admitted assaulting an emergency worker in the exercise of his functions and criminal damage to the Airwaves police radio.
Magistrates asked for a pre-sentence report to be prepared and adjourned sentencing until later this month.
Grimshaw was remanded on unconditional bail until this time.
