A Henry VIII lookalike is to visit a Pembrokeshire town to tell tales about the much-married monarch.
Michael Farley has made appearances on national television and at venues over the UK, including 3,000 schools , since he became a professional Henry VIII some 20 years ago.
He will be giving an amusing talk, in full costume, entitled 'The Life & Times of Henry VIII, or Henry's Horrid History’ at Bethesda Baptist Church Hall, High Street, Narberth, SA67 7AP.
The talk, on Thursday October 10, starts at 8pm, with refreshments being served from 7.45pm.
It’s taking place at the monthly meeting of Narbelles WI, and is open to non-members for £5 each. Refreshments are included in this price. There will also be a raffle at £1 per ticket.
The Narbelles WI had a great September, with several members enjoying an outing to the Welsh Craft Festival at Cardigan Castle.
Judging has also taken place for the group’s sunflower growing competition, with prizes to be awarded for the tallest, the most perfect and the quirkiest at the October meeting.
Narbelles WI, based in Narberth, was formed last November following the demise of the town’s long-standing WI branch.
The group meets from 7pm until 9pm, on the second Thursday of the month, at Bethesda Baptist Church Hall, High St, Narberth SA67 7AP.
The friendly group, with fun activities for women of all ages, is keen to welcome new members.
