A Pembrokeshire gallery will be hosting a "Break In" exhibition.

Narberth's Oriel Q Gallery will showcase the works of Arthur Brooker and associated artists, moving away from traditional themes to present a unique show.

Mr Brooker, a regular exhibitor at festivals and events, draws his inspiration from rave culture, geometry, negative space, and the collective of artists he closely collaborates with.

His work is characterised by sharp lines, bold colours, striking high-contrast images, and multi-dimensional sculptural pieces, all enhanced by dynamic lighting.

He also manages the Breakout Gallery in Haverfordwest, which is responsible for the town-wide Breakout exhibition that brings artwork from numerous artists to the town over the summer months.

The Breakout Gallery also showcases large-scale works at festivals such as Westival, Growing Wild, NozStock, and How the Light Gets In.

His challenge for this exhibition is to scale down these larger public works to fit into the more conventional gallery setting.

His tools and materials for this collection include spray paint, natural foliage, masking tape, sticky back vinyl sheets, roller cutters, rags, and a splash of acrylic.

Mr Brooker said: "The most exciting part has been working with some of my closest friends and collaborating with other artists to create some really original new joint works.

"I see a lot of similarity between how I create my work and how music producers produce music.

"I want to take the audience on an exciting, energetic, visual journey allowing others to remix my work and bring their own perspectives to it."

The "Artist of the Month," Janey Pridham, will occupy the window space with her exploration of homelessness through her ceramic, small-scale, shelter-like structures.

The exhibition will run from October 19 to November 16 at Oriel Q Gallery, 11 Market Street, Narberth, SA67 7AX.

The gallery's opening times are 10am to 4pm, Wednesday to Saturday.
