A Pembrokeshire man assaulted a woman twice, used violence to gain entry to a home and threatened to destroy property once inside.
Ashley Mardon, 36, of Riverside Avenue, Neyland, assaulted the woman by beating on July 28.
On the same date, Mardon committed a further alcohol-related offence and used violence to enter a home, knowing that there was someone on those premises who was opposed to his entry.
On September 8, he assaulted the same woman and threatened to cause damage at her address.
All the offences took place in Pembroke Dock.
Mardon admitted all offences in front of magistrates in Haverfordwest last month.
He was sentenced at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, October 1 where the bench took his guilty plea into account.
Magistrates handed down a two-year community order. As part of this Mardon will have to complete a 31-day rehabilitation activity.
He must also complete 200 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.
Mardon was ordered to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
