A musical based on a best-selling children's book is coming to Milford Haven.
The Smartest Giant in Town, based on the beloved book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, will be at the Torch Theatre stage next month.
Awarded four stars by the Evening Standard, this musical adaptation tells the story of George, who tires of being the scruffiest giant in town.
A new shop with giant-sized clothes gives him a fresh look, making him the smartest giant around.
But soon, he finds himself helping animals in need, giving away his clothes in the process.
This heart-warming tale, filled with music and puppetry, is a co-production by Fierylight and Little Angel Theatre.
Following Little Angel Theatre's successful adaptations of other Julia Donaldson books, this show is about friendship and helping those in need.
Aimed at children aged two to eight, the production is nearly an hour long and has been described by the Guardian as 'a fun family show.'
The Smartest Giant in Town will be at the Torch Theatre on Saturday, November 9, at 2pm, and Sunday, November 10, at 11am and 2pm.
