A GOODWICK man has been ordered to register as a sex offender after being caught talking online to who he thought was a young girl.
James Roberts, 28, of Allt Y Carne, appeared at Swansea Crown Court charged with attempted sexual communication with a child.
It was alleged that Roberts engaged in a sexual conversation with a decoy account purporting to be aged under 16 between August 8 and 11 last year.
He pleaded guilty.

“The defendant appreciates the weight of the evidence against him,” defence counsel Hannah George said.
Ms George said that although pictures “were solicited”, no images were exchanged.
Judge Paul Thomas KC adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
“You must register as a sex offender within three days,” he told the defendant.
Roberts was admitted to bail, and will return to court to be sentenced on November 4.
