A man has been remanded into custody after being charged with intentionally strangling a woman as well as inflicting grievous bodily harm on her without intent.
The offences are alleged to have taken place in Jameston near Tenby on September 21 this year.
Kelvin Hughes, 44, of Garden Suburbs Trimsaran, Kidwelly appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court last Tuesday, September 24.
No plea was entered, and the case was sent to Swansea Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing later this month.
Hughes was remanded into custody due to the nature and seriousness of the alleged offence, until the crown court hearing.
