Gelliswick Beach is a lovely location in Pembrokeshire.
Based in Milford Haven, the beach is close to Pembrokeshire Yacht Club and the historic Hubberston Fort.
The fort was built in the 1850s to defend the haven from the French and was used as a training base during World War One.
Gelliswick Beach can be accessed by making your way down Gelliswick Road on foot or by car, past the yacht club.
For those who wish to drive, parking is available alongside the road.
In terms of facilities, toilets and refreshments are located at Milford Haven Marina, which is a five-minute drive away.
Furthermore, the overall town of Milford Haven is near Gelliswick Beach with a range of pubs and restaurants.
As a shingle beach, visitors should check tide times to make sure they have plenty of time to explore the haven before the tide comes in.
