The extreme windy weather caused a massive tree to fall and block a road in a Pembrokeshire town yesterday (September 29).
At around 7pm, traffic came to a halt on the A478 in Narberth near Mill Lane when a tree collapsed.
The tree prevented a South Wales Transport coach from continuing its journey while the cars behind were forced to use alternative routes to reach their destination.
This comes after the Met Office predicted that heavy wind and rain would cause travel disruptions across Pembrokeshire.
A yellow weather warning for wind was issued across the county between 9am and 11:59pm on Sunday, September 29.
The incident follows a wet and windy autumn spell for Pembrokeshire along with previous warnings from the Met Office.
A spokesperson for the Met Office had previously said: "It’s likely that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities will be affected by spray or large waves.
"Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely. Some bus and train services will probably be affected, with some journeys taking longer.
"Some short-term loss of power and other services is possible and delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely."
