A Pembrokeshire beach has been revealed among the top five most relaxing seaside spots in the UK.

Tenby’s North Beach has been named as the fourth most relaxing beach in the UK by spa break company SpaSeekers.com.

The study by SpaSeekers.com counted the number of times the word 'relaxing' was mentioned in online travel reviews of some of the world's most popular beaches, revealing the must-visit coastal destination in each country for when you really just need to unwind.

(Image: Gareth Davies Photography) The list reveals the go-to places for anyone looking for a relaxing and restoring trip this year. Tenby’s North Beach was listed fourth among beaches in the UK, it was beaten by Medfoot Beach, Frinton on Sea Beach and Denes Beach.

Only two other beaches made the top ten. These were Criccieth Beach in sixth place and Rest Bay Beach in seventh, meaning that Tenby’s North Beach was the most relaxing in Wales.

(Image: Gareth Davies Photography) Worldwide, Little French Key in Honduras is revealed as the most relaxing beach in the world with with Palm Cove Beach in Australia placing in second and Nautholsvik Geothermal Beach in Iceland completing the top three.
