A charity is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary with an open day event in Ceredigion.
Tir Coed, a grassroots organisation, is celebrating a quarter of a century of connecting people with the outdoors for learning and wellbeing.
To mark this milestone, Tir Coed is hosting a number of open days across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Powys, including one at Coed Tyllwyd in Ceredigion on Thursday, September 26, from 1pm to 3pm.
This event will provide an opportunity to learn more about the work of Tir Coed, explore the woodland, and hear stories about the impact the charity has had on people's lives and the places that have been transformed by the charity's projects.
The event will feature guided woodland walks, demonstrations of sustainable woodland skills and crafts, and the chance to meet some of the team behind Tir Coed's work.
The charity has been working since 1999 to unlock the potential of land and woodlands to provide community facilities, educational and health activities, and to create job opportunities for disadvantaged individuals in rural Wales.
Tir Coed has engaged thousands of individuals in meaningful outdoor activities, offering training, support, and personal development opportunities while enhancing biodiversity and restoring woodland spaces.
The charity has continuously expanded its reach, promoting sustainability and creating healthier, happier communities.
The charity is encouraging everyone to attend its anniversary events.
People can find out more information on how to take part in this celebration of nature, learning, and community by visiting the Tir Coed website or contacting the charity directly.
The open day event at Coed Tyllwyd aims to bring together partners, supporters, and the wider community to celebrate a shared passion for the potential of the outdoors to create change.
It also hopes to look ahead to the next chapter of Tir Coed's journey.
Tir Coed has played a significant role in promoting sustainability and creating healthier, happier communities.
As the charity celebrates its 25 years of impactful work, it reminds everyone of the importance of nature in enhancing wellbeing and strengthening communities.
