A letter from Lyn Jenkins, Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park

Dear Editor,

Thank-you for the lovely photograph of a seal pup in the Western Telegraph[11/9].!

I see that visitors  will be banned from entering Pembrokeshire's Blue Lagoon at Abereiddy from September 21st until the beginning of November due to the seal-pupping season.

If people want to view seal pups without disturbing them, they can do so by visiting Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park at Gwbert, Cardigan. Pups can be seen from the safely-fenced cliff-tops.  A lovely pup can be seen in the back of one of our coves at the moment.  We've named him "Gwyn".

We even offer our Farm Park visitors -who are only charged £5.90 per adult and £4.90 per child to enter the Farm Park. -.a FREE  return trip up until October 18th, to view the progress of the seal-pupping season. That should get a seal of approval!!

Yours faithfully,

Lyn Jenkins,
