A MAN has denied wounding another man with a glass and damaging a pool table at a hotel and bar in Goodwick.
Daniel Mitchell, 28, of Dunster Close in Rugby, was charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm and damaging property.
It was alleged that Mitchell caused a man grievous bodily harm with a glass at the Glendower Hotel in Goodwick on April 18 last year. He was also accused of causing £180 of damage to the pool table.
He pleaded not guilty to both charges.

Ashanti-Jade Walton, appearing for Mitchell, said the defendant was acting in self defence.
“He did not mean for the glass to make contact with the complainant,” she said. “He was trying to escape.”
Judge Catherine Richards readmitted Mitchell to bail, and set a trial date of February 20.
