A number of bus services in Pembrokeshire could see some changes.

Pembrokeshire County Council is seeking public feedback on proposed changes to bus services in Haverfordwest, Merlins Bridge, and Broad Haven.

The council aims to extend service coverage and provide more travel opportunities.

The affected services include the 301 Haverfordwest Town Service, a new Haverfordwest - Merlins Bridge circular route, the 308 Haverfordwest - Llangwm - Burton circular, and the 311 Haverfordwest to Broad Haven.

The proposed changes are:

The 301 service will no longer stop at Augustine Way due to low passenger usage. Alternative stops are available at St Thomas Green or Horsefair. The service will be extended to a new stop on Scarrowscant Lane, near Tasker Way junction.

The proposed new Haverfordwest-Merlins Bridge circular route will offer two additional journeys between Merlins Bridge (St Issells Avenue) and Haverfordwest town centre, one in the late morning and one mid-afternoon.

These will complement existing journeys on the 308 service at the start and end of the day.

The 308 service will have its afternoon journey call at Withybush retail park and hospital after leaving Haverfordwest Bus Station.

The 311 service will have two additional return journeys departing Haverfordwest Bus Station at 10.40am and 2.50pm.

The council is inviting residents to share their views on these proposed changes via its website.

The consultation can be found - with more information - on the Pembrokeshire County Council website.
