A MAN has been charged following reports of men fighting in the street in Narberth.

Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for information after reports of violent disorder on High Street on Thursday,  September 5.

It was alleged that “a number of men were reported to be fighting in the street” at around 3.45pm.

A 21-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.

Dean McCartney, 29, was charged with causing grievous bodily harm. He appeared in court in Swansea on Saturday, September 7 and was remanded in to custody.

He will next appear in court on October 7.

“Police are aware from CCTV footage that there were numerous witnesses to the incident and are appealing for them to come forward,” a spokesperson for the force said.
