It’s been a sell-out Saturday in Saundersfoot for the village’s first-ever Harbour Feastival.
The pirate-themed event, inspired by the village’s replica coastal schooner, is entertaining people from far and wide on the harbour decking.
A treasure chest of street tastes from around the globe is greeting Feastival-goers, who have been enjoying food, drink and plenty of yo-ho-ho-style piratical performances.
Coloured umbrellas, fairy lights and lively music - including, of course, sea shanties - have been adding to the atmosphere.
The three-day event got underway on Friday evening, September 6, and continued with three sessions today, Saturday, September 7 and two tomorrow, Sunday, September 8, each capable of welcoming up to 500 people.
It’s been organised by Welsh company Street Food Circus and is the final stop on a summer tour which has encompassed a variety of themes based on venues.
“When we saw the schooner in Saundersfoot, all rigged up and ready to go, we couldn’t resist creating an event round it,” said Street Food Circus’s operations director, Gaby Kelly.
“The response from people has been brilliant – we’ve had some really good pre-sales, and it’s been great to see a lot of our loyal customers here.
“We just love it in Saundersfoot and definitely want to come back next year.
There’s still time to catch all the fun and frolics of the Feastival.
They're sold out this evening, but some tickets are available online for the two sessions on Sunday, when some walk-up admissions may also be available.
