Matthew Cox has admitted having hundreds of indecent images of children.
A MAN has admitted having hundreds of indecent images of children dating back to 2006.
Matthew Cox, of no fixed abode, appeared at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court charged with three offences.
Cox was alleged to have had 25 Category A indecent images – the most serious kind – in Cardigan between November 14, 2006, and October 27, 2022.
He was also accused of having 111 Category B images and 202 Category C images.

The 44-year-old defendant pleaded guilty to all charges on September 4.
Cox will be sentenced at Swansea Crown Court on September 25. He was granted bail and a pre-sentence report was ordered.
The defendant must now register as a sex offender.
