A temporary car park in Haverfordwest will be closing this month to allow work to start on a new interchange.
The Riverside car park will close from Monday, September 16, as construction begins on the new public transport interchange.
Vehicles must be removed from the car park by the end of Sunday, September 15.
Shops and businesses in the Riverside area will remain open as normal.
Alternative parking is available at Perrots Road, Scotchwell Road, Castle Lake, and County Hall.
Councillor Paul Miller, Pembrokeshire County Council’s deputy leader and cabinet member for place, the region, and climate change, said: "The temporary car park has been in operation a little longer than we would have liked, but it's great to see the contractor moving in to develop the new car park and public transport interchange.
"We anticipate the new facility opening in early 2026.
"Making Haverfordwest town centre easy and convenient to visit is part of our wider plans to regenerate the town and ensure Haverfordwest is a great place to live, work, and visit."
The project, part of the Swansea Bay and West Wales Metro, will feature a modern multi-storey car park and integrated bus station with upgraded passenger facilities, including public toilets and a Changing Places facility.
