Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service has attended more than 460 crashes so far this year.
Since January the service has attended 465 incidents, and is now partnering with the two other Welsh fire services for a Fatal Five awareness drive this September.
The campaign aims to curb the five main causes of road traffic incidents and injuries in Wales - drunk or drug driving, speeding, failing to wear a seatbelt, using mobile phones and driving whilst distracted or tired.
Despite most conforming to traffic rules, a small minority continues to endanger themselves and others.
The service hopes to lower these figures through this campaign and safety messages on social media.
