A Pembroke care home has been sold as its owners are retiring.
Bush House Care Home, which has space for up to 36 residents, has been owned by Fred and Gwladys Barnfield and their son Jonathan since 2009.
The family decided to sell the business so they could semi-retire.
The care home was put on the market by specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co.
After a confidential sales process, it has been bought by Robin Appathurai, who owns another care home in North Wales.
Jonathan Barnfield, a former owner of Bush House, said: "After 15 years of owning Bush House Care Home, we were sad to say goodbye to its brilliant staff and residents, but it was time for us to step away from ownership and enjoy our retirements.
"We’re pleased to be handing the business over to Robin, an experienced care home owner, and look forward to seeing how he takes it to further success."
The care home was converted from a Victorian private residence in 1990.
It has retained many original features and offers views of the countryside.
Oliver McCarthy, director of care at Christie & Co, said: "It was a pleasure to assist the Barnfield family with this sale and handing the business over to Robin, who I’m sure will build on its good reputation and quality of care.
"With a great level of interest garnered, this is another example of the strong appetite we’re seeing for operational homes in South Wales."
The sale price for Bush House Care Home has not been disclosed.
