Two teenagers cut off from the tide have been rescued from the bottom of a steep cliff by lifeboat crew.
The duo and a third person found themselves stranded at Trewent Point, Freshwater East, where the rising tide made it impossible for them to reach the beach.
Tenby’s all-weather lifeboat was requested to launch just after 7,50pm on Friday August 23.
In rough conditions, the Haydn Miller made best speed to the location, some eight miles west of Tenby.
The volunteer crew located the two teenagers, with the third member of the party managing to make it back to the beach before the tide got too high.
Tenby RNLI said on Facebook: "The lifeboat’s Y-boat was launched, with two crew members aboard The crew plucked the two teenagers off the rocks and took them to the safety of the beach, where their relieved family were awaiting for them.
"With nobody else needing assistance, the lifeboat made its way back to station, where it was washed down and made ready for service."
