THIS “gem” of a pub on the banks of the River Teifi has been ranked as one of the best pubs to visit in Pembrokeshire.
The Ferry Inn, on Poppit Road in St Dogmaels, offers extraordinary views of the Teifi estuary and the countryside on the other side of the river.
The pub offers “gastropub fare in a casual, relaxed atmosphere”, and even has its own jetty – making it easy to visit both from on land and if you’re out on the river.
It sits at the start of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and just a mile from Poppit Sands beach, and walkers, cyclists, families and dogs are all welcome.
The Ferry Inn boasts a Tripadviser score of 4.5 from 1,447 reviews, with 1,235 of those being either ‘Very Good’ or ‘Excellent’.
