Angle RNLI Lifeboat Station has thanked Valero Pembroke Oil Terminal for its support of lifesaving operations.
The terminal's contribution of a £4,000 donation supplements the fuel donations from Valero Pembroke Refinery that have been received since 2005.
The annual donation of 10,000 litres of fuel is enough to power a Tamar lifeboat's journey around the UK coast, with extra fuel remaining.
In 2023, the Angle RNLI lifeboat launched 83 times, saving three lives.
Recently, a six-month trial began to operate Angle's all-weather Tamar class lifeboat from the Port Authority's jetty across the Milford Haven waterway.
Jordan Habin, RNLI fundraising and partnership manager, accepted the donation on August 19.
She said: "On behalf of the RNLI, I would like to thank Valero for their continued support and the generous donations they’ve made to lifeboat stations in Pembrokeshire for nearly 20 years.
"Without fuel and donations, our lifeboats and crew can’t go to sea and save lives."
The terminal is a major fuel hub on the Milford Haven Waterway.
The donations have been aiding Angle RNLI Lifeboat Station in West Wales since 2005, ensuring ongoing support for their vital operations.
