A 53-year-old French fisherman was airlifted to Withybush Hospital this evening after suffering from headaches and seizures.
The man was a crew member on the Andre John fishing vessel, which was in the Celtic Deep, 26 miles off St Annes Head.
The skipper of the ship contacted French coastguard authorities to say his crew member had become ill. They got in touch with Milford Haven coastguard headquarters who, after seeking medical advice, tasked rescue helicopter 169.
The man was taken to Withybush where he is currently undergoing tests.
