A Plaid Cymru MEP has vowed to help fight the corner of LNG safety protestors as they appear in Brussels today.
Members of Safe Haven, including Pembrokeshire's Rodney Maile, will give further evidence to the European Parliament's Petitions Committee this morning.
They successfully lodged a petition last December and the European Commission has been looking into possible breaches of EU law relating to the 150 mile long LNG pipeline stretching from Milford Haven to Gloucestershire, which in parts runswithin a few metres of houses and schools.
A second petition on the safety of the LNG terminals in Milford Haven will also be discussed.
"This is a big day for Wales in Brussels," said Jill Evans.
"There is huge public concern surrounding the LNG pipeline and Iwas pleasedto bring so many constituents directly affected by theproblems to Brussels to give first hand evidence to MEP's.
"The protestors have been failed by the authorities. Developments are not and cannot be allowedwhich are against European lawsin place toprotectour health andour environment.
"I would urge others in Wales who think they may have a similar case to contact me".
