Fishguard and Goodwick's first plastic recycling collection will take place tonight.
Fishguard community composting group have teamed up with transition Bro Gwaun to respond to a "dire need" for plastics recycling in the north of the county.
A truck from AJ recycling in Boncath will collect plastic, tin and cardboard at Goodwick Moor car park between 5pm and 6.30pm.
You can register for the scheme at Pat Gillespie's centre of traditional healing and wholefoods at 53 West Street Fishguard.
Recyclers who register will receive free recycling bags and access to the scheme.
The council- run orange bags scheme is due to begin in the north of the county this summer.
