The road between Fishguard and Cardigan at Tufton Bends was reopened after five hours today following a crash involving two heavy goods vehicles.
The crash happened at 9.20am this morning and one man was trapped.
Fire crews from Fishguard and Haverfordwest, including a crash tender, attended and the trapped man was released at around 10am. He was taken to Withybush Hospital but is not thought to be seriously injured.
A second ambulance and a helicopter were mobilised but not required and stood down.
Diesel leaked from the lorries into surface drains and the Environment Agency has been informed.
Fire crews made the area safe and the road was reopened at 2.20pm.
